Service scope
ContrastCheck calculates the WCAG 2.x contrast ratio for one opaque sRGB foreground and background pair. It does not inspect a website, image, gradient, transparency, typography or component state.
Local inputs and analytics
Color values and results remain in your browser. Optional aggregate analytics records only stable action names, preset identifiers and error codes—never colors, ratios or pass/fail results.
Independent review
A passing pair does not establish WCAG, legal or accessibility conformance. Independently review real rendered content, states, size, weight, adjacency and every applicable requirement.

The service and results are provided as available and without warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law. Independently verify every important result.
